SARICYCLE

On September 18, 2022, the team visited Carmona, Cavite for our fifth site. We met the beneficiaries in the Manila Jockey Club for the orientation and a picture taking session. We then visited each house to check where their stores would be set up and to better understand each family’s situation. What really struck us was how one family was currently living without electricity in a home that was poorly built and is highly susceptible to damage from rain and flood during the current rainy season. We hope that our stores and the sustainable income that they will be able to earn will help them improve their current situations.
