OUR WORK

On December 27, 2021, we went to visit the community to do the initial setup of our very first SariCycle site in Barangay Sapang Uwak. Barangay Sapang Uwak is a remote community in the mountains of Pampanga, home to around 500 indigenous Aetas. The pandemic brought upon several challenges to the community, including a decline in demand for the goods they farm, an increase in commodity prices, etc. Our hope is that these SariCycle stores will not only help these families have a sustainable livelihood, but also provide easier access to cheap necessities for families in the community.
